Essential oils are so much in vogue that by now, we are pretty certain that you are sick tired of hearing its name. But we can’t help it, we really can’t. Essential Oils are trendy because they deserve to trend. You don’t believe us, well, we got just the right reasons for you to start believing in us.

  1. Good For Mental Health -

Essential Oils are primarily known for their incredible fragrance. This scent is extracted from the leaves, roots, flowers, bark, stems, etc. of the plants. It is then further distilled to eliminate any impurity, and sold to you - overall, just the purest goodness in a bottle. Now, because these oils smell so good, essential oils are great for your mental health, as they treat depression, mood swings, insomnia, irregular sleep patterns, anxiety, tension, and stress. You just need to add some drops of your favorite essential oil to a diffuser and let its aroma spread inside the room.

  2. Good for Skin -

Just how essential oils are good for aromatherapy, they are also great for your skin. There are various essential oils that can be used on your skin (in diluted form) to treat skin troubles, like acne, acne marks, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, et cetera. Moreover, some of these oils also help retain moisture, youth, radiance, and glow in your dull, tired skin. They make your face elastic, less prone to damage, and welcoming to other skin products.

  3. Good for Hair -
Several essential oils are antimicrobial in nature, i.e. they help get rid of hair/scalp infections, and also prevent lice infestations. Other than this, these oils also promote hair growth, hair strength, hair elasticity, etc, by preventing hair loss, hair damage, hair fall. Et cetera.

  • Various kinds of Essential Oils -

  • TEA TREE OIL - Tea Tree Oil is extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, a tree native to Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. It has been in use for centuries, thanks to its healing and calming properties. It has compounds such as terpinen-4-ol, which make Tea Tree Oil antimicrobial and antiseptic. It has a cooling aroma, which calms down anxious nerves, to give your mind a relaxed sensation, away from everyday stress and worry.
  • NEEM OIL - Neem is possibly the most effective home remedy that is known to us. It is beneficial for your skin, your hair, your internal health, and your external hygiene as well. Extracted from the same leaves, barks, and stems of the Neem plant is the Neem Oil.
  • LAVENDER OIL - Extracted via steam stripping the plant, Lavender Essential Oil is anti-inflammatory, antifungal, antidepressant, antiseptic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, analgesic, detoxifying, and sedative. With its purple flowers that proliferate beautifully in fields, lavender is as much of a vision to behold as it is a plant that has so marvelously aided the healthcare and beauty industry.
  • EUCALYPTUS OIL -  Eucalyptus Oil works for cold, sinus, migraine, and cough. Using Eucalyptus Essential Oil for sleep is also a good remedy for insomnia. It even works as a bug repellant, antiseptic, for aromatherapy, and treating irregular sleep patterns. A great source of antioxidants, Eucalyptus is very rich in flavonoids (a kind of antioxidant), which are believed to shield your body from free radical damage and oxidative stress. Some of the main flavonoids found in eucalyptus oil include catechins, luteolin, phloretin, quercetin et cetera. And with so much goodness, comes tons of health benefits as well.
  • LEMONGRASS OIL - Extracted from the stalks and leaves of the lemongrass plant, lemongrass oil is most commonly used for cooking and herbal purposes. It is also an excellent antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory agent, and ample in antioxidants, which help in regulating blood sugar levels and controlling cholesterol. When taken with a carrier (tea/oil etc.), lemongrass oil can be effective in soothing gastric ulcers, vomiting sensations, anxiety, and work stress, in some cases, even headaches and migraines.
