The second most frequent skin issue that both men and women experience is hyper-pigmentation. It results in the skin becoming darker and manifests as black patches. Melanin is the primary source of pigmentation, but it can also result from unprotected sun exposure, inheritance, hormonal changes, aging, skin damage, acne, pregnancy, drugs, chemotherapy, or skin inflammation. Although it typically affects the face, it can also affect other body areas. Various other names for them include melasma, aging spots, freckles, and freckles. Essential oils can do wonders for your skin. In fact, certain essential oils can even help with hyperpigmentation.

  • ORANGE ESSENTIAL OIL -
Because they promote vitamin C absorption, citrus-based oils like orange oil can help to reduce hyperpigmentation. Because vitamin C has such a significant effect on the skin, it is crucial to absorb it. This vitamin can help prevent indications of aging, such as wrinkles and dark circles, as well as protect against UV damage and sun rays that might worsen pigmentation. Overall, they aid in reducing hyper-pigmentation and so enhance the tone of your skin.

  • SANDALWOOD OIL -
A calming and nourishing action of sandalwood essential oil aids in the healing and fading of facial acne scars. The traditional use of sandalwood oil in Indian skin care products stops the synthesis of tyrosinase. Additionally, it functions as an antibacterial to treat skin conditions. Additionally, it has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory qualities, making it the ideal remedy for your hyper-pigmentation problems.

  • GERANIUM OIL -
Geranium oil is especially helpful in reducing pigmentation, caused due to acne scars. It is also a natural astringent and antibacterial and helps in hydration retention and calms inflammation, improving your skin’s appearance. Moreover, it will also help you fight free radicals and reduce scarring and hyperpigmentation.

  • It is a great oil for skin whitening dark areas and spots. Lemon oil aids in skin lightening and includes vitamin C, which slows the growth of skin cells that produce melanin. It contains antioxidants in addition to vitamin C, which has been demonstrated to eliminate dead skin cells, promote cell regeneration, and shield skin from free radicals. As a result, it helps to lighten hyperpigmentation and even out skin tone.
