Stress issues. Skin troubles. Hair problems. Body ailments… and the list goes on and on. Such is the life of a human being trying to survive in the 21st century. Work — home — eat — sleep — repeat: this is literally ALL you can manage to do in a day. And with a demanding schedule comes the inability to manage your health, which brings more inconvenience. But considering how difficult it is to look after one’s well-being in this rat-and-mouse lifestyle, what easier ways can be adapted to lead a peaceful life? Well, the easiest and possibly one of the most affordable answers is ESSENTIAL OILS. Some of you must have heard about it, many of you must be using it already, but some of you are unaware of it — well, it’s time to get aware! Now you must be curious about all the whats/whys/ifs/buts of ESSENTIAL OILS. So let’s look at some of its golden benefits, shall we?

FOR SKIN —

  • TEA TREE OIL: This oil is anti-inflammatory i.e. it is amazing for acne-prone skin, or skin prone to pimples or infections as well. With its antibacterial properties, it works wonders for itching and irritation. When applies to naturally oily skin, it can effectively reduce sebum production, hence preventing clogged pores and acne.

  • PEPPERMINT OIL: Thanks to its cooling effect on the skin, this oil can be your ultimate savior if you are prone to heat burns or sun marks. When used properly, it can reduce body odor, eliminate excessive sweat, kill germs, and keep your skin breathing and healthy.

FOR HAIR —

  • CEDARWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL: This oil balances out the oil naturally produced by your scalp, thus regulating hair growth and preventing hair loss. It also has antibacterial and antifungal properties, which make it beneficial for hair troubles such as dandruff, infections, allergies, etc.
  • LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL: Dandruff is a problem faced by a lot of people. It is easily transferred, thus it is a pretty common hair condition. To cure it is also a bulky task, as it doesn’t get treated pretty easily. Thanks to lemongrass oil, you can bid adieu to dandruff permanently, if used properly.   • ROSE ESSENTIAL OIL: I mean, who doesn’t like the scent of roses, right? That is exactly what this oil does: calm you down with its beautiful aroma. When used in aromatherapy, this essential oil helps you eliminate stress, and reduce anxiety.
  • LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL: Apart from being a great product for the skin, it also works like a miracle for stress and anxiety. Because of its pleasant aroma, lavender essential oil is great for aromatherapy, as it reduces anxiety, treats insomnia, and lifts up your mood.
