Tea Tree Oil is extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, a tree native to Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. It has been in use for centuries, thanks to its healing and calming properties.
It has compounds such as terpinen-4-ol, which make Tea Tree Oil antimicrobial and antiseptic. It has a cooling aroma, which calms down anxious nerves, to give your mind a relaxed sensation, away from everyday stress and worry.

  • Antimicrobial - Its antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic properties make it a great warrior against the battle of infections and diseases. It can be applied to cuts and wounds, bruises in diluted quantities to sanitize the affected area and heal it, it can be sprayed in the air to combat disease-causing air-borne germs, it can be mixed with creams and body lotions as an insect/bug repellant. It can even be mixed with face creams to fight acne-causing germs, to give you supple and glowing skin.

  • Works as a hand sanitizer - With Covid-19 making us paranoid about health and hygiene, using Tea Tree Oil as a natural sanitizer is not only effective, but also reliable, as you get a sanitizer that’s natural, without chemicals, 100% pure, and safe.

  • Aromatherapy - Adding a few drops to a diffuser/humidifier can help in achieving a calm environment, which can ultimately turn out to be extremely beneficial in alleviating stress, anxiety, and tension. It can also be applied to temples or wrists to create a peaceful aura around your body, its refreshing fragrance soothing your nerves, for you to get a good sleep.

  • Keeps bugs & insects away - Dab some drops on cotton balls, to keep behind window panes, door hinges, et cetera. Doing so will make sure your house remains free of bugs and insects.

  • Eliminates body odor - If you are someone who suffers from the problem of body odor, then Tea Tree Oil is the best solution for you. Add some drops to a bucket of water before you take your bath. This will keep you fresh all day, and you will smell amazing too.

How To Use Tea Tree Oil? -

  • Add to a diffuser/humidifier - Adding a few drops of Tea Tree Oil to any aromatherapeutic device of your choice can help you in living with a lot less stress, and a lot more ecstasy. As the oil particles get dispersed into the air, airborne germs are killed, tensed nerves can be calmed down, and you get to have purer, better, more suitable air to breathe and live with.
  • Cotton dabs - Dabbing a few drops of the oil on a cotton ball to apply at the back of your ears or near your temples and wrists can protect you from harmful insects and risky bugs. It also acts as a natural deodorant, and a soothing agent, which keeps you in a good mood all day long, and reduces work stress during working hours.
  • With carrier oils/creams/lotions - Its anti-inflammatory properties make it super useful in treating acne, rashes, and allergies. Though direct application can cause irritation and redness, when mixed with a carrier oil/cream, Tea Tree Oil is very effective in treating skin-related problems.

Happy Health!
