ESSENTIAL OILS FOR SUMMERS
As adults, we all agree that summer is one of our least favorite seasons of the year because of the extreme heat, scorching sun, and increasing skin concerns. By using some essential oils this year, you can help your body tolerate the summer a little better.
The hotter summer months are ideal for diffusing and blending with uplifting, cooling, herbaceous, flowery, and light essential oils. During the summer, oils from the mint, citrus, and flower families are particularly pleasant. The essential oils listed below were selected with summertime use in mind.
-
Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender essential oil, also referred to as the "all-purpose oil," is a quick treatment for a variety of issues. This oil lessens irritation and calms the area while acting as an antimicrobial for burns and wounds. It also provides stress and anxiety alleviation.
-
ROSE ESSENTIAL OIL
Sweat carries along a lot of bacteria in the summer. A few drops of rose essential oil can be added to your bathwater to prevent this, or you can apply it physically by combining it with a base oil. The antibacterial qualities will eliminate germs and improve your mental state.
-
SANDALWOOD OIL
Sandalwood powder is used to relieve acne and lessen skin redness because of its cooling effects. Similar to other essential oils, sandalwood oil calms sunburned skin and lessens puffiness.
-
PEPPERMINT ESSENTIAL OIL
Bloating and nausea can be promptly relieved by the scent of peppermint. To rapidly cool yourself, dab a few drops of peppermint oil on the back of your neck. Additionally, it deters insects and bugs, which are extremely prevalent in the summer.
-
LEMONGRASS ESSENTIAL OIL
Muscular aches and pains, digestive issues, indigestion, physical and mental tiredness, acne, and insect repellent are all treated with lemongrass essential oil. This oil's aroma is extremely lemony, fresh, energizing, and uplifting and is quite effective in aromatherapy.
Happy Health,
Thanks.
